Old thread but worth adding. Drain old coolant. Fill and empty twice with clean water to flush old coolant. Add 2.5 litres of neat concentrate. Top up with water. If you use premix, water trapped in the system will cause a weak mixture in the engine. Run engine with heater hose bleed screw open to clear bubbles. Close the bleed screw.
I have recently got a fiat grande punto 2009 plate 1.4 16v and was changing the pads the other day and noticed that there was some gear oil leaking from the square plate that goes around the inner cv joint.
