I have unlocked and rooted my device (Huawei P9 lite). I have install the TWRP bootloader and I tried to install a new costum ROM, but my device was turned off and never opened again. (Maybe: Low battery). I try to charge my device but it didn't recognize the charger.

And yes the problem on these phones is that to open it things might get complicated, but I've read somewhere that the battery could be replaced ( officially by Huawei ) in case you needed it. Well, I dropped the phone way back in April - which was when the volume button broke/jammed.

Better waiting for the update then and see if the problem persists. I read that there's a bug in some Huawei devices that makes some notification not going through when the phone is idle. Tell us how it goes.
