The tranny is a lot easier if you have an engine hoist, at the shop or a friend, unfortunately it was just me, a stock jack and two floor jacks. Oh yeah, I had an engine hoist and plenty of jackstands/wood. The proper torque settings are 83 ft-lbs on the flywheel and 21 ft-lbs on the pressure plate.
4479 posts · Joined 2004. #4 · Aug 11, 2005. spark plug socket size is 5/8ths. focus manual says spark plug torque is 15 N-m (11 ft-lbs) and manual says 1.3mm gap, but if you buy plugs from the auto parts store and ask for plugs for the focus zetec, they should come pregapped. Never trust pre-gapped plugs.

The Manufacturers recommended Wheel lug Nut Torque setting for the Ford Focus ST Manufactured between the years of 14 - 22 with a 19 inch wheel is 135 Nâ‹…m newton-metres, this converts to 99.6 ft-lb Foot-pounds. All Info provided on this website is to be used as a guide only, always confirm the torque setting of your vehicle in your owners manual.
For those reasons, I tend to tighten all the lug nuts essentially to finger-tightness with a ratchet wrench first. I then take two passes at the lug nuts with the torque wrench: first by tightening to 65 ft-lbs. all around, and then finally to 100 ft-lbs. all around. Never hurts to retorque new wheels after a week or so either. jJ0N.
