The tranny is a lot easier if you have an engine hoist, at the shop or a friend, unfortunately it was just me, a stock jack and two floor jacks. Oh yeah, I had an engine hoist and plenty of jackstands/wood. The proper torque settings are 83 ft-lbs on the flywheel and 21 ft-lbs on the pressure plate.4479 posts · Joined 2004. #4 · Aug 11, 2005. spark plug socket size is 5/8ths. focus manual says spark plug torque is 15 N-m (11 ft-lbs) and manual says 1.3mm gap, but if you buy plugs from the auto parts store and ask for plugs for the focus zetec, they should come pregapped. Never trust pre-gapped plugs.
