Otherwise, Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword will be good depending on how high your level is when starting New Game Plus, but that's mainly if your build has Killing Spree so you can make use of the 100% critical hit damage bonus on that sword. Only kept the Witcher gear, Tourney armor, and the TM set. I have the latest version, playing on PS4, and only monster mutagens transferred completely, and not the regular ones (those go one of each type). My suggestion is to unlock all mutations while in current BW (spend as many mutagens as you can) and then do NG+.

Max level for Geralt is 100 and that is only achievable through NG+. Conceivably, given how broken the game mechanics are, doing multiple NG+ using NG+ save would require levels to continue well past 100. The devs capped it at 100 and will not allow you to use a NG+ save to start a new NG+ game.
Follow these steps: download NG+ DLC > start game from last save, after you finished game. Prompt will appear that NG+ is activated > create new save at this point. Exit game > restart > New Game > chose options > diffilculties > witcher 2 save > etc > NG+ will be last option. #9.
