This game is great, but launching it is always a hassle. Steam launches the Ubisoft client, which should then launch the game, but it almost never does it automatically. It gets hung up complaining about various things that are not important at all and usually takes 5 or 10 min of messing around to get it started each time. In Conclusion. Assassin’s Creed Origins is a brilliant game and a hell of an addition to Xbox Game Pass. It runs well on older hardware but shines on the new new. Both visually and control wise it’ll be tough to ever go back to 30 frames per second after seeing how much better this game is as an experience on a Series console.
Origins (It’s technically Assassin’s Creed 5) was better than Odyssey (AC 6). Imo worse than Valhalla (AC 7). And can never stand up to or even come close to the beautiful brilliance that is Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Origins was the start of the lack of soul in AC games.
