Truck drivers are NEVER in a rush. learn to use sign posts and lamp posts as markers for gears for the coming turn/stop. recommended speed signs always -10 from the speed marked for trucks in dry weather, more for wet. IRL we don't use more than 1 for engine break in wet, 2 can cause the rears to lock up, which is not good in wet in a truck.
